Keith T. Kawamura, O.D.
After graduating from Iolani High School, Dr. Kawamura earned his Bachelors of Arts degree at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He continued his studies at the Illinois College of Optometry attaining a Bachelors of Visual Science and a Doctor of Optometry degree. During his studies, he gained valuable clinical experiences at the Omni Services referral Center in Atlanta, GA, US Department of Veteran Affairs Hudson Valley Health Care System, NY, and the Illinois Eye institute in Chicago, IL.
Upon his return to Hawaii, he diligently worked with two well respected ophthalmologists in Honolulu for 15 years before opening Kawamura Eye Care. He strives to provide thorough eye exams utilizing the latest eye care products and great customer service in a family like atmosphere.
He resides with his loving wife, Stacy, and two sons, Ian and Adam in Waipio Gentry.
